Presents bought and wrapped? YES!
Went a wee bit overboard after promising to make it a modest haul for our small person's first Christmas? YES!
All presents needing assembling have been assembled, including Adeline's wee trampoline which only went together with the awesome power of cursing and brute force? YES!
Tree purchased from the boy scouts in a west coast winter storm of gale force winds and driving rain? YES!
Tree trimmed all around the bottom by a small and very dedicated helper? YES!
Toddler pulling all the ornaments off the tree? NO! Adeline gently touches each ornament and says "wow" or "'mazing" (amazing) but doesn't try and take them off
Crazy cat pulling all the ornaments off the tree? YES!

Adeline having a bad hair day every single day with a combination of desperately needing a haircut, crazy wispy winter flyaways, constant snot and a bad habit of running her fingers through her hair while eating? YES!
Picture taken with Santa? YES! And it's a classic screaming baby Santa photo (but our scanner is a pain)
Outside lights up? YES!
Adeline's stocking made and ready for Santa to fill? YES! (this is what I really thought I'd be doing on Christmas Eve)

Nana arrived and making life SUPER FUN for Adeline? YES
Adeline super super snotty and cutting all 4 eye teeth and a molar? YES!
David still getting over a bad case of bronchitis? YES!
Christmas baking done? MOSTLY!
Christmas food prepared? NOT QUITE!
Do I have to go to the stores again? NO! NO! NO!
House clean? NOT EVEN CLOSE! (that's tomorrow morning's job while Adeline and her Nana go out for breakfast)
Only one pocket left on the advent calendar? YES!
Dreaming of a white Christmas? NO! Why set myself up for disappointment.
Dreaming about Santa? YES! At least I am...
