...that if I want people who are reading my blog to cry, then I should show them this hat
I really hope you don't cry, but there is something particularly heartbreaking about this hat with no small, warm, good smelling head to wear it. This sweet-like-sugar bunny hat is from the book "Itty Bitty Hats" and I whipped it up over the last two days. I wasn't planning to make any more small person sized hats, but I found a tiny ball of Patons Silk Bamboo during my studio clean up and really wanted to make something with it just so that I could have the pleasure of feeling that deliciously soft yarn slide through my fingers. After looking at many patterns, this wee hat was the only thing I wanted to knit.
In my heart I believe that Adeline will be wearing it at Easter time.
Perfect.

So sweet. I cry my heart out over any baby things these days but I'm being staunch about this hat. It does make me wish I could knit though.

It is so sweetly adorable, I pray that the little person be reunited with you by Easter, that hat will be more lovely adorable on her head.

So, so dear. I was just telling someone today that there is something so sweet about seeing a baby wearing a hat with rabbit ears (I'm not kidding, just today - what a coinkydink!) I too, hope your girl will be wearing it soon. (It's so painful to hope, isn't it? But what else can we do? Much love to you.)
