I put it off for a long time, but on Saturday I realized that it was finally time...
Adeline had decided that she would have NO MORE hair doo-dads of any kind. No more clips, no more headbands, no more bows, no more pigtails, no more ANYTHING. She would squirm while you tried to put them in and then flash her devilish-but-hard-to-resist grin and take them out immediately, hand them back to you and say "Thank You". Without the hair doo-dads, Adeline was having a bad hair day every single day. It was always in her eyes and the best look we could come up with reminded me of an old man comb over. So it was time for a haircut... Just a few snips and a tiny amount of lost hair made a huge difference. My girl looks so grown up now! I think it's supercute, but it did take a little getting used to. I'm still putting in hair clips and pigtails though - I'm not giving up that easily!
She looks so cute with this little tiny haircut. Though she looks really cute with the clips. Probably she will get back to them.

Busy girls have no time for hair clips.
:-). She is beautiful.

Now with no more hair covers her eyes, she can see the world better, and observe what her parents are up to....looks as if she likes her haircut too, she does look more like a darling little todler, than a baby.

Oh, yes...every time I cut their hair for the first time, they suddenly look grown up! What is up with that!? I always miss the "baby curls" or that babyish look that long hair in the eyes always evokes. Your baby is growing up!

Oh! So cute and looking so grown up! Her hair looks much easier to manage now though. What a cutie.
