June was an absolute WHIRLWIND at our house. So much happens at the end of school year - field trips, concerts, special days, track meets... whew. Plus we had some issues crop up with the child who was bullying Adeline which were dealt with immediately and well by both Adeline and her school, but which culminated in a family member of the girl verbally accosting me outside school while I was with Vivian. I was totally in the right and certainly not the monster that she painted me to be, but it's still a stressful situation. In June Adeline also worked hard to prepare for her Royal Conservatoy Exam in violin and she ended up getting an excellent mark. By the time school and violin ended we were DONE and really enjoyed a week of just relaxing at home before we had to pack up for our first summer adventure.

Vivian is a super-speedy sack racer!!!
My birthday was technically at the end of May, but I'm squeezing it in here. Adeline and David made us individual Baked Alaskas and they were PHENOMENAL. I'm a lucky Mama!
Adeline finished out her year in ballet class in June. She loves it and she's a very elegant dancer when gravity doesn't get the best of her. Her ballet skills improved throughout the year and so did her listening skills. She's definitely going to return to dance in the fall.
Last day of school celebration! Both my girls were happy that summer was here, but started missing school on about day three of vacation. I'm so thankful that they both love going to school and that they have an amazing school to go to!
